Not retracted, but removed, as in deleted. As with any controversial issue (and akin to the distinction between results and discussion), it pays to read the essay first — without reading any comments (discussion). The essay is by Tomas Hudlický and titled “‘Organic synthesis–Where now?’ is thirty years old. A reflection on the current state of affairs” (https://doi.org/10.1002/anie.202006717).
